Bowery Theatre

Bowery Theatre
The theatre on New York's Lower East Side enjoyed its heyday earlier in the 19th century, particularly under the management of Thomas Hamblin. In 1879, the fifth theatre on the site had its name changed from the Bowery to the Thalia Theatre. It burned down in 1929.
